CLEANING YOUR PLANCHA
®
1. Deglaze
Before your Plancha cools, pour a
small amount of water or white
vinegar onto the cast iron hotplate
.
2. Scraping
Scrape your Plancha
with
short
spatula
towards
the
juice
bowl.
Repeat
the
process
until
the
water becomes clear.
3. Cleaning
Let your Plancha cool down and apply
some washing up liquid (Avoid corrosive
materials) and wipe thoroughly with a
damp cloth.
"LA PLANCHA

" recommends
the "Plancha Cleaner" and the "Cleaning
kit". Contact your retailer for more details.

MAINTENANCE OF YOUR PLANCHA

When La Plancha is not in use, store it in a dry place or cover it with a lid or a protective cover. (Once it is completely cold).

Regularly check your hose. Do not hesitate to change it if in doubt.

Assembly kit must be used. If you need to
change the kit, please contact your retailer or our after sales department to order a new one.

Do not twist the gas hose and keep it away from any part that might be warm. To maintain it in good condition, it requires a
minimum care and precautions.
Each appliance is checked at various times during the manufacturing process. If something abnormal occurs, please check
that all instructions have been carefully respected. Especially check that the regulator used corresponds to the type of gas and
pressure from your cylinder. Check that the information on the data badge of the appliance corresponds to the type of gas you
are using. The non respect of these rules might damage your appliance and/or body injury.
If not used for a long period, check that the burners or tubes are not blocked by insects / insect nests. A clogged tube can lead
to a fire beneath the cast iron plate.

Phillips screwdriver.

Whilst the appliance is not in use, the gas must be turned off at the cylinder tank or the wall connection for natural gas, as well
as the control knob.
It is possible to store the appliance indoors but the appliance must be disconnected from the gas cylinder.
Gas cylinders must be stored outdoors and away from children.
They must not be stored in a building, garage or any other enclosed area.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable liquids or vapors in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
Any gas cylinder not connected for use shall not be stored in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
