Figure 2-2. Wall Mounting Plate and Wedge Positioning
To configure the Office or Tactical STE for wall mounting, on a standard telephone-mounting bracket,
proceed as follows:
a. Turn the STE over and locate the four Phillips head screws holding the wedge to the STE.
Refer to
NOTE
The wedge has “L” shaped wall-mounting slots. This means, to secure the
terminal, you must slide the terminal to the left and down when mounting it to the
wedge. Refer to
NOTE
The wedge will remain connected to the STE by the ribbon cable.
b. Carefully rotate the wedge, clockwise, 180° so the wall mounting holes look like an “L” rather
than a “7”.
NOTE
The ribbon cable should not have more than a “half twist” (90°).
c. Hold the wedge in position and replace the four Phillips head screws. Tighten the four
screws hand tight making sure you do not strip the screws or sockets.
d. Remove the Handset Hook by sliding it up and out of the Handset Cradle. Rotate the hook
180° and slide it back into the Handset Cradle. Refer to
