Sharpening is necessary when the reel cutter
(cutting cylinder) reaches a condition described
below.
When the sharpening width (length of
contacting surface of bed knife (bottom
blade)) for the outer diameter of the reel
cutter (cutting cylinder) is greater than the
usage limit.
