4. Battery
4.1. Durability of the battery.
If the battery is fully charged, but the operating time significantly reduced, the battery is defective and
must be replaced.
If the battery temperature is low (10°C or lower) the charging time will be prolonged.
Caution
Do not use defective batteries. The RE-BAR tier will not work properly.
4.2. Re-cycling of Li-Ion batteries.
The batteries for the TJEP RE-BAR tier are Li-Ion. It may be illegal to dispose of the battery
through the ordinary waste system. Your local waste authorities can inform you how to
dispose of and recycle this type of battery correctly.
When disposing of the battery, make sure that the protection cap is placed correctly and taped to
the battery.
