Manage microSD card

From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key
[Menu]
>
Settings & tools

Settings
>
Phone settings
>
Storage
to open the Storage screen. You can see the
storage information under
SD card
.
To unmount microSD card:
►
From the Storage screen, highlight
SD
card
and press the Right soft key
[Unmount]
.
Note:
It is important to unmount the SD card before removing it from your phone to avoid
corrupting the data on the card.
To format microSD card:
1. From the Storage screen, highlight
SD
card
and press the Left soft key
[Erase]
.
2. Read the disclaimer, and press the Left soft key
[Yes]
.
CAUTION!
The formatting procedure erases all the data on the microSD card, after which the
files CANNOT be retrieved. To prevent the loss of important data, please check the
contents before you format the card.
Use the phone’s microSD card as a media device
1. Connect your phone to your computer via a USB cable.
2. A message will appear on the phone's screen asking you to allow access to your files.

Other USB options
and press the Center soft key
[Select]
.
3. Highlight
Media device (MTP)
and press the Center soft key
[Set]
4. On your computer, the connected phone is recognized as a portable media device.
Navigate to the device and select
SD card
.
5. Manage the data as you wish, unmount the phone as required by your computer's
operating system to safely remove your phone, and disconnect the phone from the
computer.
