Switch Access
You can access the switch in any of the following ways:
6.1
Access through Console Port
Step 1: Connect the 9-pin serial port of a PC to the console port of the
switch with an RJ45-DB9 console cable.
Step 2: Open the Hyper Terminal in the Windows OS. On the desktop, click
Start → All Programs → Accessories → Communications → Hyper
Terminal.
Step 3: Create a new connection "aa", as shown in Figure 24.
