10 Special accessories
10.1 PWW heating register

Heat exchanger for subsequent air heating including control
valve with flexible connecting hoses to prevent solid-borne sound
transmission. The shutoff valves and dirt traps must be installed
by the customer.
Temperature regulation
If the room temperature falls below the set setpoint by more than
0.8 K, the ventilator and the heat pump are switched on and the
control valve begins to open.
Refer to the device information for the outputs for various flow
temperatures.
10.2 Extractor fan
(Order No.: 356910)
It should be installed under the ceiling in the exterior wall oppo-
site the device. Should the ventilator outlet be located under a
projecting wall or a balcony, an insulated duct, extending to the
end of the wall projection or balcony, must be connected to the
ventilator.
Humidity control
When the target value is exceeded by 5% or more, the extractor
fan is activated and its speed increased until it reaches max. its
maximum rpm at 10%.
Temperature regulation
If the room temperature exceeds the set setpoint by more than
2 K, the speed of the extractor fan is increased (corresponding to
the excess temperature) so that the excess heat can be released
into the outside air.
10.3 Outside air connection point
(Order No.: KVS 350260)
Is installed in the wall behind the device. When installing, it is im-
portant to note that the filter can only be exchanged from the ex-
terior side by removing the rain guard.
Connection and air filter should be checked at least once a
month and, if applicable, cleaned or renewed.
The connection at the rear of the device is a standard feature. To
connect a hose, only the insulation behind the circular opening in
the plastic back panel must be cut out.
