Chapter 3 - Settings

Step 2 - Update Latitude and Longitude Data (if necessary)

If you do not have a GPS connected to the ADCU, you need to enter

your vessel’s latitude and longitude into the system.

Use the flowchart in Figure 3-23 to manually set the latitude and

longitude values.

TIP:

For your convenience, you can determine your approximate latitude and

longitude using the Position Grids provided in Appendix F on page 111.

Step 3 - Adjust the LNB Skew Angle

Now that you have installed the desired Tri-Sat group, you need to

adjust the antenna’s LNB skew angle to optimize signal reception.

Follow the instructions in “Setting the LNB Skew Angle (Linear

Versions Only)” on page 34 to adjust the skew angle.
