Set-top Box Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution(s)
No channels are shown.
• Allow at least 7 minutes for the Set-top Box to initialize.
• Check the status indicators on the Media Server’s web
interface.
• Try unplugging the Set-top Box DC connector, then plug it
back in and wait 7 minutes for the Set-top Box to initialize.
Upon power-up, the Set-top Box
initialization screen (
) is stuck on the first bar.
• Make sure the Media Server is connected properly.
• After powering up the Media Server, be sure to allow
sufficient time (5 minutes) for its initialization.
The IP-MobileCast menu on the
Set-top Box is unresponsive.
• Verify that nothing is obstructing the remote control’s
connection to the IR receiver in the center of the Set-top Box’s
front panel.
• Check the batteries in the remote control.
