Lubrication points
for grease
Lubricate all of the areas marked in the illustration as follows:
•
after 50 hours of operation.
•
before and after the season.
•
each time after cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner.
Working with a
grease gun
Before applying the grease gun
clean lubricating nipples and
grease gun attachment fitting.
Lubricate the bearings with one or two presses of the grease gun. If
you feel resistance at the second press, do not proceed any further.
Too much grease will force the bearings apart. Dust and dirt can
penetrate into the bearings. This leads to premature wear.
