 Inaccurate measurement may result from the following :

    1) When the battery runs out.
    2) When the measured distance is out of the specified range 
        (1'8" to 50' / 0.5 to 15m).
    3) Interference of another ultrasonic source when nearby.
    4) When the unit is not held straight and perpendicularly to the 
        target.
    5) Long narrow corridor.
    6) Irregular objects near the target.
    7) The reflected ultrasonic pulse from the target is narrow.

 An error message "Err" will be displayed on screen under 

    following conditions :
    1) When the measured distance or calculation result exceeded
        the specified range.
    2) When the unit is held wide angle to the target.
    3) The target surface does not provide good reflection for 
        ultrasonic pulse. (i.e. soft and irregular surface such as thick
        carpet, curtain or irregular wall paper, walls etc.)

 This product would lose temporal memory and reset 

    automatically under a strong electro-static environment.
