The cooking levels

There exist 9 cooking levels.

The cooking setting required can be activated by means of the Plus or the
Minus sensor. It is shown in the display.

The “0” setting remains visible for approx. 10 seconds after switch-off.

If   you  touch  the  Plus  sensor,  the
cooking zone starts at setting 9.
When  doing  so,  the  automatic
parboil  function  is  automatically
activated, and this is indicated by
the lit up decimal point.

If the Minus sensor is touched, the
cooking  zone  starts  to  operate  at
level 4 without the automatic boost
function.

Switching off the cooking zone:

press the Plus sensor and the Minus sensor simultaneously.

The “0” setting remains visible for approx. 10 seconds after switch-off.

Automatic boost function

The  cooking  zone  has  an  automatic  initial  cooking  function.  The  parboiling
boost  is  activated  at  full  power.  The  parboiling  boost  time  depends  on  the
subsequent cooking level which has been selected after the activation. The
cooking zone automatically changes to the selected subsequent cooking level
as soon as the set parboiling boost time has elapsed.

When  the  cooking  zone  is  turned
on  by  using  the  Plus  sensor,  a
decimal  point  is  displayed  behind
cooking level 9.

The  decimal  point  indicates  that
the  automatic  parboil  function  is
active.

To  prevent  the  automatic  parboil
function  from  deactivating  itself,
the required cooking level must be
set  by  using  the  Minus  sensor
before

the

decimal

point

extinguishes

(within

approx.

10 seconds).

The  automatic  boost  function  will
not be active if a cooking level is
set  after  the  decimal  point  has
extinguished.

When  the  automatic  parboil
function  is  activated,  the  cooking
zone will heat up to full capacity for
the duration of the time stated in
the table on the left.

The  decimal  point  extinguishes
once this time has elapsed and the
cooking  zone  then  continues  to
heat  up  according  to  the  set
cooking level.

If  the  cooking  level  is  changed
during  the  automatic  boost,  the
boost  time  that  has  already

elapsed is automatically subtracted from the boost time associated with the
newly set cooking level.

Residual heat indicator

As long as the cooking zone is still
hot  an  “H”  will  appear  in  the
display when the cooking zone has
been switched off.
