4.11 Automatic switch-off (timer)
The automatic switch-off device is used to automatically
switch off any cooking zone after an adjustable period of time.
Cooking times ranging from 1 to 99 minutes can be set.
1. Cookware is placed on a cooking zone and a power level
(e.g. 3) is selected.
A cooking zone must be selected. To do so, press the
respective cooking zone selection key
.
2. Press the Plus
or Minus key
of the timer. The timer
display will show 00.
3. Immediately use the Minus key
or the Plus key
of
the timer to set the time.
The procedure will have commenced.
In order to programme the automatic switch-off device for
another cooking zone, fi rst press the cooking zone selecti-
on key
and then set the time.
4. The cooking zone will be switched off when the time has
lapsed. A signal will sound for a while and can be switched
off by pressing any key (except for the OFF key).
Notes
• If you wish to check on the time that has lapsed (switch-off
device), select a cooking zone and correct the time with
the Plus key
or the Minus key of the timer
.
• Terminating the function of the timer: A cooking zone must
be selected. To do so, press the respective cooking zone
selection key
.
Press the Plus key
and the Minus key
of the timer
