Baking

1. Set baking program 

.

The baking program runs automatically with a pre-set baking temperature
and time,

or

2. Select heating program.

Each heating program starts at a pre-set temperature. This temperature
can be changed. The baking time must be set.

Preferably use the values in the table Reference values for baking.

Quantities for the baking tray 

(e.g. cake mixture, yeast dough):

Cake mixture 

350 g of fat, 270 g of sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 6 eggs, 670 g of
flour, 6 level teaspoons of baking powder 

Yeast dough 

670 g of flour, 50 g of yeast, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/4 l of milk, 100 g sugar,
2 eggs, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 100 g of margarine

Notes on baking 

The oven must not be covered with aluminium foil.

Use the heating programs

and

 top and bottom heat with rapid heating feature so that the tempe-

rature you want is reached more quickly. Once the temperature has been
reached, the appliance switches back to the desired type of heating.

When baking several trays or tins of cakes, the baking time increases by
about 10 to 15 minutes. 

Remove the trays singly depending on the degree of browning.

air ovens. 

Important:

The development of humidity is particularly severe with cakes with a very
moist fruit layer, e.g. plum cake. Max. one tray should be put in the oven.

When pre-heating with the

 top and bottom heat with the rapid heating

feature, the temperature you want is quickly reached. Baking tins of black
plate and aluminium are particularly suitable.

Only for tins of cakes with dry covering, e.g. crumble cake.

250 °C and specified baking time(see baking programs). You can change
the pre-set temperatures and times.

The pre-set temperature of 160 °C appears in the display. 
Pre-heat the oven and set the temperature to 250 °C.
You establish the baking time you want.  

Example  

Basic recipe for pizza

375 g of flour, 20 g of yeast, 1/8 l of luke-warm water, 3 dessertspoons
of oil, salt 

Make a yeast dough from the above ingredients. Let the dough rise until
the volume has doubled (about 30 minutes). Then knead the dough again
for several minutes and let it rise for another 15 minutes.  
Place the dough on a baking tray or divide it into 2 or 3 pieces, roll them
out round, form an edge, cover quickly with what you want so that the
dough does not become moist.
