Applications

Roasting

1. Setting roasting program

.

The roasting process runs automatically with a specified cooking
temperature and duration.

You must merely turn the roast once.

You will find roasting programs with notes on application in the section
Programs on page 30.

or

2. Selecting heating program.

Each heating program is switched on with a pre-set temperature. This
temperature can be changed (see Changing cooking temperature on
page 28).
You determine the roasting time yourself.

To this end set the time with the minute minder
or
enter the time with the automatic cut-out button.
The appliance is switched off on expiry of the specified time.

To this end use the core temperature probe. Your roast will always be a
success. You will find notes on correct use in the section Core temperature
probe.

The roasting time depends on the type and size of the meat. Lift the meat
slightly for measuring as it collapses under its own weight.
If the meat has a layer of fat, the required roasting time may be considerably
longer or even twice as long.

The cooking time per item is prolonged by about 10 minutes if you put
several small pieces of meat or a small whole fowl into the oven.
e. g.

1 chicken about 55 minutes

3 chickens about 65 to 75 minutes

If the roasting process starts after a preselection time, you are operating
