Do not roll nor pull the cable to unplug the
appliance. Keep the power cord away from
hot surfaces.
Never use this appliance if it has a damaged
cord or plug, nor if it is not working correctly.
If the power cord is damaged, do not use
your appliance; take it to an authorized tech-
nical assistance to be replaced.
1.3. Moisture and Water
Do not use your appliance in moist environ-
ments. Do not let your appliance subject to get
wet in any way, since it may be dangerous. TO
AVOID FIRE OR ELECTRIC HAZARD DO
NOT EXPOSE THE APPLIANCE TO WATER
NOR MOISTURE. Do not put your appliance
under water (for example, to wash it).
1.4. General Precautions
• Please keep these instructions, the war

ranty certificate, the sales receipt and, if
possible, the carton with the inner packag-
ing!
• Do not operate this appliance with an ex

ternal timer or remote control system.
• Always remove the plug from the socket
whenever the device is not in use, when
attaching accessory parts, when clean-
ing the device or whenever a disturbance
occurs. Switch off the device beforehand.
Pull on the plug, not on the cable.
• Unplug the appliance from the power sup

ply after use and prior to cleaning. Never
leave the appliance unattended when it is
plugged in to the power supply.
• Never immerse the appliance or the power
cord in water or other liquids.
• The base should never come into contact
with water or other liquids. In case this ever
happens, it must be completely dry before
operating the appliance again.
• Switch the machine off before removing it
from the base.
• Do not clean the electric kettle or the base
in a dish-washer.
• Never touch the appliance or the power
cord with wet hands.
• If the device becomes moist or wet, re

• Use the device only for the intended purpose.
