10.4.2 Checking the blades and their
mounting hardware
- Immediately replace worn or damaged parts
with genuine KUHN parts.
Blades
- Replace blades in the following cases:
• When the wear value L reaches 120 mm (4.7’’).
• When there is visible distortion.
Using blades that are excessively worn can
cause premature damage to holders, rotors or
troughs.
- Regularly check that there are no foreign
objects wrapped around the blade holder
(twine, wire, crop residues, ...). Remove
them.
