As required, lubricate :
- guard and parking stand locks
- pivoting lower hitch points
The hydraulic tank (1) is factory filled with 100 litres of mineral hydraulic oil SHELL TELLUS 46.
Replace the oil filter (part no. 82340002) located underneath top plug (2) (photo 24) after the first 10 hours of use.
Every 2 years or more often if necessary, drain the hydraulic fluid and replace the oil filter. Re-fill with SHELL
TELLUS 46 hydraulic oil or with an other mineral hydraulic oil with viscosity grade 46 (ISO viscosity grade HM 46).
Regularly check oil level of hydraulic tank. The level is correct when located between the MIN and MAX marks of
sight glass (3) (photo 24). If necessary, adjust oil level.
Regularly check oil level of step up gearbox through sight glass (6) (photo 25). The level is correct when it reaches
the red mark. If necessary, adjust oil level through plug 5 - photo 24a.
Every year :
- Replace step up gearbox oil by removing drain plug (4) (photo 24a) as well as plug (5).
- Reinstall plug (4) and fill with SHELL SPIRAX EP 90 oil through plug hole (5). The oil level is correct when it reaches
the red mark visible through sight glass (6) (photo 25) located on the other side of the step up gearbox.
- Reinstall plug (5) (photo 24a)

WE RECOMMEND SHELL LUBRICANTS.
For a correct oil level, make sure the machine is parked on flat ground (the beam being
approximately horizontal).
Pneumatic brake adjustement : check the brake cylinder stroke after 20 hours of use, then every 80 hours of use.
The stroke is to be checked when the brakes are cold (photo 34).
The brake cylinder stoke must not exceed 40 mm. If the stroke is too important, the braking system must be adjusted
by an authorised Kuhn dealer.
