TRANSPORT
Before placing the machine in transport position make sure nobody is in the
folding vicinity of the rotors.
In transport and during work, the parking stand must always be in the raised
position.
Never let the rotor rotate when the machine is in transport position in order to
prevent risks of accident.
Never transport the GA 9321 H/P at more than 25 KM/H (16 MPH).
To fold the machine into transport position (photo 12), proceed as follows :
-
Use handles (4) to unlock guards (5) (photo 9) and fold them to the inside (see arrows, photo 8).
Guards will automatically be locked in place once in the transport position.
-
Store handles (4) in the spring clips (6) (photo 9).
-
Disconnect 5 tine arms (1) on each rotor and place them into racks (2) provided on the rear
undercarriage (photo 10). Secure tine arms (1) with linch pins (photo 10).
-
Place the machine in minimum working width.
-
Raise rotor arms using the hydraulic circuit.
Beware : once the rotor arms are in vertical position, wait until they are fully
retracted and locked (see photo 13). Then release the valve.
-
When the rotors are fully retracted in transport position, shut-off hydraulic hose lock valves (photo 11).
-
Switch the electric control box OFF.
-
Check that plug of light and signal system is properly connected and ensure that all signal lights are
functioning correctly.
Never drive on public roads without having checked that the rotor arms have been
locked in transport position and guards have been placed on the rotor's tines. (Photo 13
b)
Transport of the machine on roads is the operator’s responsibility and he must
ensure that the machine is in line with the highway code of the country concerned.
Always check that the rear lights and indicators are clean and functioning correctly
before going on the road.
Beware: prior to transporting the machine on public roads, release handbrake (photo 13a).
