WORK POSITION AND ADJUSTMENTS
Before carrying out any operation such as maintenance or adjustement on the machine,
stop the tractor engine, remove ignition key and wait for rotating parts to stop.
Make sure there is nobody in the machine operating area before lowering the rotors into their
work position.
To switch the GA 9321 H/P from the transport position to the work position, proceed as follows :
- Open hydraulic cylinder lock valves
- Activate tractor’s hydraulic valve to lower the rotors. Beware, the rotors extend partly before starting to
move downwards.
- Keep pressurizing the lift linkage cylinders until they are fully retracted (cylinder pin in the middle of the
rotor arm oblong hole).
- Once rotor arms are completely lowered, the machine is in working position.
- Remove tine arms from their supports and fit them on the rotors.
- Unlock foldable guards (5) using handles (4) and lower them in working position (see arrows, photo 5).
- Store handles (4) back in clips (6) (photo 5).
Wheel undercarriage height adjustment (photo 4) :
- switch the electric control box ON (1) (photo 4),
- activate hydraulic valve,
- operate toggle switch on the electric control box (3: left or right rotor) until proper adjustment is obtained,
- release toggle switch,
- release hydraulic valve,
- switch the electric control box OFF (1) (photo 4).
Note : If there is no response when pressing electric button, shift the tractor valve in the opposite
direction.
Working width adjustment (photo 4) :
- switch the electric control box ON (1) (photo 4),
- activate hydraulic valve,
- operate toggle switch on the electric control box (2: + to increase, - to reduce) until proper width is
obtained,
- release toggle switch,
- release hydraulic valve,
- switch the electric control box OFF (1) (photo 4).
Note : If there is no response when pressing electric button , shift the tractor valve in the opposite
direction.
To reduce the width, fully retract rotors then increase again width (in order to
extend rotors symmetrically).
