11. - Maintenance and storage

Mower conditioner
- Couple the machine to the tractor.
- Apply park brake.
- Shut down the engine of the tractor.
- Unlock nuts of wheel (1).
- Place a jack under the machine axle as close as
possible to the wheel to be replaced.
- See chapter:
• Safety / Machine handling / Lifting the
machine.
- Unfasten the wheel nuts (1).
- Remove wheel.
Installation follows the operations described above
in reverse order.
- Check the torque of the wheel nuts:
• Torque: 27 daNm (199 lbf ft).
- Remove the jack.
11.5 Storage
11.5.1 At the end of each season
- Clean the machine thoroughly.
- Drain all gearboxes and refill with new oil (see
"Lubrication" chapter).
- Touch up any areas of damaged paintwork.
- Put the machine under cover in a dry place.
- Inspect and replace worn knives and bolts (See
section: Inspection of knives and securing
elements).
- Depressurize all hydraulic functions.
- Grease the cylinder rods in contact with the
outside.
