Instructions
Using the Tea Maker
• Open lid:
Lift the Tea Maker vertically off the power base (Fig.1). Turn the lid
anticlockwise to open (Fig.2). When the open lock symbol is in line with the
mark near the top of the handle, lift the lid off the jug (Fig.3).
• Add water:
Fill the required quantity of cold tap water into the jug. Fill at least
up to the minimum (2 cup) but not beyond the maximum (6 cup) level. Take
care that no water spills onto the power base.
• Add filter assembly:
Place the funnel inside the jug (Fig.4) and the filter inside
the funnel (Fig.5). The cut-outs in the rim of the funnel must be aligned with
the small plastic projections on the rim of the Tea Maker to ensure a correct fit.
Both funnel and filter handles must be folded down (Fig.6).
• Add tea:
Add the appropriate amount of loose leaf tea to the filter. As a general
rule, use one teaspoonful of tea leaves (or approximately 2g) for one cup of
tea, or adjust the quantity to your taste. Also check on your tea packaging for
dosage recommendations.
• Close lid:
Replace the lid on top of the Tea Maker and turn it clockwise to
lock.
• Connect:
Position the Tea Maker on the power base. With dry hands, insert
the plug into an appropriate wall outlet and switch on power at the outlet. The
appliance will emit two beeps, indicating that power is connected.
