Adjusting the rotor
pitch
By virtue of the tedding angle, rotor pitch determines how far the crop
is ejected from the rear. The tedding angle can be adjusted in steps
of 1°.
Secure the machine
Secure the machine against inadvertent starting and rolling. The
machine must be standing on firm and level ground and, if
necessary, be supported during the work. Unsecured or non-
supported machines can cause accidents.
Never work under the rotors
Do not carry out work on raised rotors unless they have been
secured. Carry out the work only from the outside and between the
tine arms. Otherwise, serious injury may be caused.
