AINTENANCE

 

Shear bolts 

Check the shear bolts indicated on the figure 
below at frequent intervals for proper tightness 
to be sure the blower is in safe working 
condition. If the shear bolts need replacement, 
use the following parts only: 

Driveline:   

Bolt M10 x 1.50 x 55mm long gr.8.8 PTD 
Part # 70060-02622.  

Drive shaft

:   

Shear bolt hex. 5/16" NC x 1 3/4" gr.5, incl. nut 
PTD Part # 70060-04440. 

 
 

 

WARNING: 

Provide adequate blocking 

before working under the snowblower when in 
the raised position. 
 

Driveline 

IMPORTANT: When the snowblower is not 
used for more than two weeks, perform 
driveline maintenance and always store it 
in a dry place, away from bad weather
