Clamp the plus cable of the battery charger to the positive terminal extension

and
the minus cable to an unpainted location on the engine

. Switch on the battery
charger.

You can also use the battery charger to test rest potential and start potential of the bat-
tery, and to test the generator. With this device, you cannot overcharge the battery.

Switch off and disconnect the charger after charging.
Guideline
Charge the battery regularly when the
motorcycle is not in use 3 months

Mount the red protective cover of the positive terminal extension.
