Completely drain the engine oil.

Thoroughly clean the parts and sealing surfaces.

Mount and tighten screw plug

with the short oil screen and
the O-rings.

Position long oil screen

with the O-rings on a pin wrench.
–
Position the pin wrench through the drill hole of the screw plug
in the opposite section of the engine case.
–
Push the oil screen all the way into the engine case.

Mount and tighten screw plug

with the O-ring.
