Accelerate only up to a speed suitable for the road surface and weather conditions. Par-
ticularly in bends, do not shift, and accelerate very carefully.

To shift down, brake if necessary and close the throttle at the same time.

Pull the clutch lever and shift into a lower gear, release the clutch lever slowly, and
open the throttle or shift again.

If the engine stalls (e.g. at a crossroads), just pull the clutch lever and press the elec-
tric starter button. You do not have to shift into neutral.

Switch off the engine if you expect to be standing for a long time.

If the oil pressure warning lamp lights up during a trip, stop immediately and switch
off the engine. Contact an authorized KTM workshop.

If the engine warning lamp lights up during a trip, please contact an authorized KTM
workshop as soon as possible.
Info
From the flash rhythm you can deduce a two-digit number, the so-called blink
code. The blink code tells you which component is affected by a malfunction.

If the general warning lamp lights up during a trip, the matrix display shows a mes-
sage for 10 seconds.

Very important messages are stored in the "Warning" menu.
–
If the icy road symbol appears in the combination instrument, the roads may be icy.
Adjust your speed to the road conditions.
