Eight 10/100BASE-TX switched ports (Port #1- #8)
Each port consists of an RJ-45 connector (MDI-X type) and is used
for connection to a 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX device.

Uplink RJ-45 connector for Port #1
The additional MDI RJ-45 connector is also provided on Port #1 for
easy uplink via standard straight-through UTP to other device that
supports MDI-X RJ-45 connector.

Diagnostic LED indicators
The indicators provide the operating status of the unit and the
network ports. The status includes power, Fiber, Link/Activity/
Speed, and Duplex/Collision.

One fiber module slot for Port #8
In addition to the RJ-45 connector, Port #8 also provides one fiber
module slot which can accommodate one optional fiber module.
•
Configuration switches
A set of configuration switches is located on the rear of the switch
unit. Those switches are provided to configure the operation
settings for each network port individually.
