The maximum surface temperature of the operating material
depends on the operating temperatures of the fluid and the
am-bient temperature and is 5 K higher than the operating
tempera-ture at the installation site.

9.3. Cable gland
Only cable entries and sealing plugs with an EC type examina-
tion certificate acc. to EN 60079-0, EN 60079-7 and EN 60079-
31 may be used. They shall be certified for at least the same
temperature range and IP protection as the magnetic switch.
Furthermore, it is important to ensure that the thread size and
thread version complies with the respective device model of the
housing and that the screws are suitable for the connection ca-
ble used. The use of single strands is not permitted! In the
event of non-compliance the type approval expires.
All unnecessary openings for feeding cables must be perma-
nently sealed with appropriate sealing elements verified for ex-
plosion protection in accordance with EN 60079-7 for Group
IIC, or EN 60079-31 for Group IIIC.
