5.4 Installing the valve pit (optional)

CAUTION

Clogging of the piping / formation of air pockets

Damage to the pump station!

The height of the discharge connection of the valve pit has to be equal to or
above the height of the discharge nozzle of the collecting tank.

Transport equipment / lifting equipment suitable for the corresponding weight
(see data sheet) has been selected and is on hand.

ü

The data sheet (scope of supply) is available.

1. Lower the valve pit into the construction pit with suitable transport equipment /

lifting equipment (e.g. digger or crane).

2. Position and level the valve pit and verify the permissible height difference

against the data sheet. The height of the discharge connection of the valve pit
has to be equal to or above the height of the discharge nozzle of the collecting
tank. Balance out the height difference if necessary.
