Operating preparations
• Take apart the universal drive shaft.
• Clip one half (1) and (2) onto the tractor and the
other to the implement.
(The wide angle coupling must be installed on
the implement. Note the labeling on the univer-
sal drive shaft.)
• Move the rotary swather to the position where the
universal drive shaft is at its shortest. (
straight-
ahead driving)
• The rest of the procedure can be found in the
manual provided by the universal drive shaft
manufacturer.
3.3.2 Adjusting the length of the PTO shaft
Danger of material damage: Do not lift
before the length of the PTO shaft has
been adjusted!
• Switch off the PTO shaft when carrying out service, maintenance, repair and assembly
work on the rotary swather. Switch off the engine. Remove the ignition key. Secure the
tractor from rolling away!

ten.
Verwenden Sie hierfür Fette auf pflanzlicher Basis.
Secure the guard tube (3) against rotating using the
retaining chains (4)!
Check that the PTO shaft has enough
swivel space and free movement space!
Damage will be caused if the PTO shaft
is touched by the tractor or implement.
(e.g. hitch, three-point frame)
