Standard operation
5.1 General information
The loading wagon is fitted with solenoid valves which
make it possible to pre-select the hydraulic functions on
the wagon at the control box. Each switch function
desired is pre-selected at the control box by operating
the corresponding
push button
so that the relevant
valve is opened. The tractor valve is then switched to
„Pressure“ until the function is carried out. Only one
function can be switched on at a time while the other
switches must be switched to the 0 position = middle
position
.
The pick-up can run in the „floating position“
independently of the scraper floor.
When loading the wagon, the switch for the pick-up
operation remains switched on and the tractor hydraulic
system is switched to Lower or Floating position so that
the pick-up is able to move freely.
If the hydraulic scraper floor is switched on during the
loading process, the switch for scraper-floor operation
must be switched to „On“. Now the tractor hydraulic
system is switched to „Pressure“ and the scraper floor
operates. After scraper-floor operation is finished, the
scraper-floor switch must be returned to the 0 position
and the tractor hydraulic system switched to the Lower
or Floating position.
5.2 Special safety instructions
•
Risk of injury
The hydraulic system on the machine (wagon) is under pressure.
During maintenance work on the short-cut loading wagon, it is vital that you switch off
the engine and remove the ignition key.
•
Repair work on the hydraulic system must only be carried out by a trained specialist.
When carrying out welding work on the
short-cut loading wagon or the tractor
with the short-cut loading wagon
attached, the electronic system may be
damaged by electrical surges. For this
reason, remove the control box from the
tractor and disconnect the cables.
