7.2 Controlling via an RS-485 Controller
To control up to seven single VP-1608 units via an RS-485 controller, for
example, a Master Programmable Remote Control system, such as the
Kramer
RC-3000 , or a PC (equipped with an RS-485 interface), as shown
in Figure 10 , do the following

1 Switch OFF the power on each device before connecting it to your VP-1608. After connecting your VP-1608, switch on its
power and then switch on the power on each device
