2. Connect a serial controller, (for example, a laptop) to the Control RS-232
port.
3. Connect the device to a LAN using the RJ-45 Ethernet connector.
4. Connect up to 32 serial data destination devices, (for example, projectors or
matrix switchers) to the 3-pin, terminal block, RS-232 Ports connectors.
5. Connect a device to be controlled using RS-232 serial data, (for example, a
matrix switcher) to the 3-pin, terminal block, Serial port.
6. Connect the device to the mains electricity (not shown in
) and
power the device on.

You can connect to the
FC-132ETH
via an RS-232 connection using, for example, a
PC.
To connect to the FC-132ETH via RS-232
:
Connect the Control RS-232 3-pin, terminal block connector on the rear panel
of the
FC-132ETH
unit via a 3-wire cable (pin TX to pin 2, RX to pin 3, and G to
pin 5) to the RS-232 9-pin D-sub port on your PC

You can connect to the
