Connecting the 840Hxl
Always switch off the power to any device before connecting it to your
840Hxl
. After connecting your
840Hxl
, connect its power and then
switch on the power to the device.
To connect the 840Hxl as illustrated in the example in
1. Connect the HDMI OUT connector to an HDMI acceptor (for example, a flat
panel LCD display).
2. Optional—connect a PC to control the
840Hxl
via the RS-232 or USB ports.
3. Connect the power adapter to the 5V DC socket and to the mains electricity
(not shown in
).
Note
: The device must be connected to the 5V supply or it will not function
correctly. If connected to a PC via the USB the device might appear to work
but it will not function correctly.
