2.4 Safety Barrier Dimensions
WARNING: A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from the hot
viewing glass is provided with this appliance and shall be installed for
the protection of children and other at-risk individuals.
If the barrier becomes damaged, the barrier shall be replaced with
Hussong Mfg.’s barriers for this appliance.
IMPORTANT: Consider the height of hearth extension finish material
when building a fireplace platform. Proper installation of safety
barriers require the bottom finishing edge of the fireplace to be level
with the hearth extension finish material.
