8) Adjusting the position of external fixation lamp.
Adjust the position of external fixation lamp such that it comes in a position as illustrated in the drawing below.
Posterior pole photography is enabled in this position.
9) Guiding gaze point of the examined eye.
Instruct the patient to fixate the flashing tip of the fixation lamp with his or her eye (not to be examined). Guide
his or her gaze point to the location of fundus to be photographed while slowly moving the external fixation
lamp.
