Turn the knob fully to the left.
Confir m that “o” is dispalayed to the left of the
screen. (shown right)
Proceed to the next test at the same time as its display.
note) If the knob with center click, it is necessary to return to the center.
note) Knob other than the test object is turned, LED will blink all.
In this case, press the [SHI FT / EXIT] to clear the error display and resume the test.
( Repair is required when an error occurs even though you are not touching the other
knob.)
Method D: Rotary encoder (12 clicks or 30 clicks)
The name of rotary encoder is displayed on
main display. (right fig.)
To make it easier to make sure that the Rotary Encorder has one rotation, adjust the
position of the knob.
Press the knob to reset the counter.
Make one rotation clockwise.
Check counter value is +12 or +30. (
Note) The clicks value of knobs are shown in the table on page test of each panel.
Check “OK ” is displayed.
Press the knob to reset the counter.
Make one rotation counterclockwise.
Check counter value is -12 or -30.
Check “OK ” is displayed.
Press the knob to progress next check.

In this case, press the test object knob to clear the error display.
Method E: Display
All segments are off
Check no dot is turn on.
Push [VALUE dial] and start next check.
All segments are on
Check no dot is turn off.
Push [VALUE dial] and start next check.
Check that all dots are the same densities.
Check the hatch pattern. (Shown at right)
Confir m that there is no dead dot.
