PC To Host settings
When connecting the EC350 to a remote computer via the PC TO HOST port, you
must select on the piano the same speed of the computer’s serial interface. Please
refer to your computer’s owner manual, for more information on the serial interface.
Hold down the TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION button, and press the HARPSI/CLAV
sound selection button to select the right speed. Then release both buttons.
Note: This procedure only works when the PC/MIDI switch (underneath the rear
panel) is set to the PC position.
MIDI Data Dump
You can save (1) recorder data and (2) memorized parameter data (see page 52) on
an external MIDI storage device, like a sequencer or a MIDI data filer. You can later
reload the data into the EC350, to restore a saved set of data.
Warning: To avoid losing data, read carefully read the owner's manual of your
MIDI data filer.
Note: During a data dump operation, the EC350 will not produce sound, and no
other function will work. When the data dump is completed, you will return to nor-
mal playing condition.
Note: You may cancel a data dump operation before the data dump begins, by press-
ing the TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION or VIBES/GUITAR button.
Saving recorder data to the data filer. Here is how to save recorded data on an
external MIDI data filer.

Use a MIDI cable to connect the EC350 MIDI OUT to the MIDI IN of the data filer.

Prepare the data filer to receive MIDI data.

On the EC350, hold down the TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION button, and press the
VIBES/GUITAR sound selection button. The LEDs of the TRANSPOSE/FUNC-
TION and VIBES/GUITAR buttons will blink, indicating that the EC350 is ready to
transmit the data dump.
