CLEANING
DANGER: Remove the plug from the socked before cleaning the found
set. Do not immerse the heating unit, the power cable or the mains
plug in water or any other liquid.
WARNING: Leave all parts to cool down fully before emptying the pot
and cleaning. The fondue forks are very sharp.
CAUTION: Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Do not pour liquid fat down the sink: when it cools, it may clock the
drains.
Heating unit
- Cleaning the heating unit with a soft, damp cloth using a mild soap
solution.
Accessories
- Clean the stainless steel pot, splash guard and found forks with a mild
detergent.
Emptying stainless steel pot
Fat that becomes hard when it cools down can generally be removed
as a lump by turningg the pot over. Liquid fat can best be poured into
a container using a funnel, e.g. the original container. Dispose of old fat
via your local disposal facility or discard with household waste.
TIP: Food or fat that has got burnt on is often easier to remove if you
fill the pot with water, add a sachet of baking soda and leave to stand
overnight.
STORAGE
WARNING: The found set should be kept out of the reach of children.
-Do not wind the power cable around the appliance but into the base of
the heating unit.
-Clean all parts and make sure they are properly dry before putting away
the found set.
