Advisory Conventions
Four types of advisories are used throughout this user’s guide to provide helpful information or
to alert you to the potential for hardware damage or personal injury. They are Notes, Cautions,
and Warnings. The following is an example of each type of advisory. Use caution when servicing
any electrical component.

Note:
A note is used to make helpful information stand out.
Important:
An important note indicates information that is important for you to
know.
CAUTION
A CAUTION indicates potential damage to hardware and tells you how
to avoid the problem.
WARNING
A WARNING indicates the potential for bodily harm and tells you how
to avoid the problem.
