SET SERVER IP AND PORT
GPS trackers(GPRS version) transmit the data into internet through fixed path, IP and port so that
trackers can link with software fleet management platform. User can set and modify the IP and port via
above No.1 SMS format: AS1234IPPO:IP;PORT

Please note “119.147.23.108;7777

” is factory default IP and port. User needn’t modify it if use our
side server, but If use themselves server, please send the command to modify to be your local server IP
and port.
b.
Set terminal ID
There is a ID (S/N number) label at the side of tracker main unit and packaging box. User need input
the ID when add trackers into software. Factory has programmed the ID into device in advance.
General speaking, please not modify it if no special request.
c.
Set APN
APN means Access Point Name. It is a necessary setting for GPRS to link with internet and transmit
GPS data to server. Due to different countries and districts, there are different APN for GPRS to LOG
IN from different networks server agent. Please consult your local provider for correct APN gateway,
network logon username and password, then edit three SMS(following NO. 3, 4, 5 SMS format ) and
send to trackers separately so as to make them get through with server.
Example: China mobile APN is CMNET, user name is user, password is gprs, edit three message as
below.
AS1234APN:CMNET#
AS1234USER:USER#
AS1234GPRSPASS:GPRS#
d Device Status Enquiry
User can send command of AS1234STATE# to enquiry the tracker status, which is convenience for
users to check whether the device ID, IP etc is correct or not. If any of them is incorrect, please amend
them following relevant commands.

3.3 Platform operation(GPRS mode)
3.3.1 Modify IP/Port remotely
Tracker’s IP and port number can be changed via fleet management platform according to user’needs.
Note: Please not modify it if use our side server because the relevant parameter has been set before
shipment.
