3.3.2 Modify APN
APN means Access Point Name. It is a necessary setting for GPRS to link with internet and
transmit GPS data to server. Due to different countries and districts, there are different APN
for GPRS to LOG IN from different networks server agent. Please consult your local
provider for correct APN gateway, network logon username and password, then issue
commands to modify them via software.
3.3.3 Remotely modify password
For safe, please change trackers password timely by platform after the trackers work
normally.
3.3.4 Remotely restart tracker device
User can issue restart command to reboot the device via monitoring platform when certain
trackers work anormally.
3.3.5 Remotely check the version No. of terminal device
Monitoring center can inquiry the trackers’ version remotely including terminal device ID, VER, IP,
communication mode etc, which is convenient for technician to follow up the after sales service and
product upgrade in future.
