(14) Insert the harness into the wire saddles (at two
places) located on the underside of the working
table. Run the connector through the hole and
remove the connector cover.
(15) Insert the socket harness into the edge cover
(at one place) and connect the socket to the
connector from the machine.
(16) Attach the cover to the mounting plate. (Two
screws supplied with the Key Counter Mount
Kit)
(17) Attach the cover for the key counter harness
that was removed in step (8).

3. Configuration procedures
<Software SW setting>
(1) Plug the power cord into the power outlet and
turn ON the power switch.
(2) Display the Service Mode screen.
(For details of how to display the Service Mode
screen, see the service manual.)
(3) Touch “System 2”.
(4) Touch “Software Switch Setting”.
(5) Touch “Switch No.”, and enter “118” using the
numeric keypad.
(6) Touch “HEX Assignment”, and use the arrow but-
tons and numeric keypad to enter “02”.
(7) Touch “Fix”.
(8) Touch “END”.
(9) Touch “Exit” on the Service Mode screen.
(10) Turn OFF and ON the power switch.
Note:
When displayed the Service Mode screen, be sure
to turn off the power after exiting the Service Mode
screen and wait for 10 seconds or more before
turning on.
