(5) Insert the supplied board holder to the DSC
board at the position shown in the illustration.
(6) Using the supplied shoulder screw (large), fasten
the board holder to the machine.
Note:
• Make sure that the DSC board does not slant.
• If it slants, push it horizontally until it hits
against the end.
(7) Attach the cover removed in step (2).

(3) Remove the indicated connector from the dual
scan board.
Note:
Perform this step only when the dual scan docu-
ment feeder is installed.
(4) Remove the dual scan board. (Three screws)
(5) Open the indicated connector of the dual scan
board and remove the cable.
