Composition/Operation

5.2

Document feed/transport mechanism

• When the document reaches the Registration Sensor, the Feed Roller starts turning for-

ward and, at the same time that the Pickup Roller goes up, drive is then supplied to the 
Registration Roller.

• When the Transport Motor starts turning forward, the two Transport Rollers and the Exit/

Turnover Roller feed the document toward the exit direction.
