Operation
• When a laser beam strikes the Polygon Mirror, light reflected off the Polygon Mirror is
directed at the PC Drum by way of the lens and return mirror.
• The Polygon Mirror has seven faces, being turned at high speeds by the Polygon Motor.
• The SOS Mirror and SOS Sensor keep constant the timing, at which emission of a laser
beam is started for each main scanning line.
