Composition/Operation

1.
When the original is loaded and the Start key pressed, the Scanner performs shad-
ing.
2.
The Scanner then moves to the scanning position under the ADF glass.
The original is scanned as it is moved.
3.
After the original has been scanned, the home position of the Scanner is detected.
Then, the Scanner moves to, and stops at, the home position.
