To guarantee adequate protection:
- don the helmet and rotate the rear wheel (D) to adjust the size until achieving the
required tension (fig. 3).
- fasten the chin strap (C) inserting the buckles until the lock clicks (fig. 4); pull to check
that the buckle is locked and adjust the chin strap length to keep the helmet firm on
your head.
- adjust the side slings (E) running them through the buckle until the desired position is
reached (fig. 5).
Warning: the helmet shall be worn perfectly centred on the head; it should not
move, either backwards, forwards, or laterally. It shall always be fastened! (fig. 6).
How to open the chin strap (fig. 7):
In case of danger, the safety ring (G) ensures that the chin strap (C) opens under a load
between 150 and 250 N (15-25 kg):

8.1 – Optional accessories
MOUSE WORK can be combined with headphones 999.SET.001 by using the fastening
kit 997.051 (fig. 12), and with visor 997.056 (fig. 13).
How to combine the items:
- headphones:
a) drill the shell (A) with a ø 3 mm drill; the position of the 2 holes to be drilled is shown
inside the shell (fig. 14)
b) install fastening kit 997.051 on the shell (fig. 15)
c) insert the headphones inside the fastening kit with the bayonet mount (fig. 16).
- visor:
a) remove the protective insert (H) from the shell
b) insert the guides (L) in the shell holes (H2) and check that the guides are installed
as shown in fig. 17
c) install the visor (M) on the guides (L) – fig. 18
d) fasten the 2 fastening disks (N) by means of the screws (O) – fig. 19

9 – PRE AND POSt USE CONtROLS
Check and make sure that:
- the shell (A) is not deformed and does not show signs of cracks or wear
- textile parts do not show signs of wear, tear or unstitched seams
- the size adjustment system (D) and the locking system (C and E) work as described in
pictograms No. 3, 4 and 5
- the device is suitable for the intended purpose
