Setting up in a “Windy II
TM
” machine

Place the wooden board, with the
PCB unit on, in the specified position
in the machine.

Connect the connectors to the PCB
unit in their specified positions. Lay
and dress the cables neat and tidy.
2-3 Installing the control panel
•Take care not to apply any load or impact to the machine’s panel when it is open.
•When closing the machine’s panel, be sure to do so while holding it with hands. Never
utilize its dead-weight to close it.
•When closing the machine’s panel, take great care that your fingers, etc. are not
pinched.
•When the machine’s cover is opened, be sure to check that the stay is locked.
•Touching the stay may cause the machine’s cover to be unlocked, so take great care
not to touch the stay with your body.
•Take care not to apply any load or impact to the machine’s cover when it is open.
•When closing the machine’s cover, be sure to do so while holding it with hands. Never
utilize its dead-weight to close it.
•When closing the machine’s cover, take great care that your fingers, etc. are not
pinched.

Connect the accompanying I/O
cables to the reel connector of the
PCB unit, as shown at right.
Here is how to install the kit in a “Windy II
TM
(JVS-compatible general-purpose)” machine. Take
the same procedure to install it in a “Windy
TM
(JS-compatible general-purpose)” machine.
2 Setting the kit in the machine
•Bundle the cables and tuck them without
slack inside the machine.
